ACCESS QUESTIONS

HOW DO LONG DO I HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL MY ACCESS WORKS?

You'll just have to wait for between 2 and 5 little minutes for your username/password to be propagated on all our servers. If after 10/15 minutes your account doesn't work, just contact us webmaster@toonsale.com - make sure you tell us as much info as possible so we can fix the problem quickly!

I DIDN'T RECEIVE MY LOGIN INFORMATION, WHAT CAN I DO?

If you didn't receive an email with your access information after signing up, you can contact us webmaster@toonsale.com.

MY ACCESS ISN'T WORKING, HOW CAN I GET IT FIXED?

Sometimes, it happens that an login/pass doesn't work to access the Members Area. If you have that problem, first make sure you're typing the good username and password. It can get tricky sometimes, you could type a L (l) instead of 1 (one) etc.

I'M NOT PROMPTED TO ENTER MY USERNAME/PASSWORD FOR THE MEMBERS AREA?

You have to setup your browser so you'll be prompted to enter your username and password. Follow these directions to do so :
•From the Tools menu in Internet Explorer, select Internet Options.
•Click the Security tab.
•Click the Custom Level button.
•If you scroll down on the next menu, you will see "USER AUTHENTICATION: Logon". Be sure that ANONYMOUS is not selected. If it is, then you will not be prompted to enter a username and password.

DOWNLOAD QUESTIONS

HOW DO I DOWNLOAD THE MOVIES?

There are different methods to download but the one that works the best is the Right Click Method. To download a movie, you just have to Right Click on the movie link and then select "Save target as". You'll be prompted to choose a place where to store the movie on your Hard Drive (remember where you download it of course!), and then the download will start. To play the movie, you'll simply have to double click on the file once its completely downloaded. Note that if you left click on the link, your media player will pop up, and then you wont be able to save the movie on your hard drive, and for some media players, you won't even be able to see the movie. If you have any problem viewing the movies after downloading them, please read the questions concerning video playing problems.

I DON'T HAVE THE OPTION "SAVE TARGET AS", HOW DO I FIX THAT?

You can easily fix this problem by following the easy steps depicted on that page :
http://support.microsoft.com:80/support/kb/articles/q176/3/16.asp&NoWebContent=1

WHEN I TRY TO DOWNLOAD, IT GOES TO WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER AND THE VIDEO NEVER STARTS?

You have to make sure to download the movie on your hard drive before watching it - to download, right click on the movie link and choose "save target as" (more information on Question #2 located at the top of this page). When it's downloaded, just double click on the movie file to watch it. Check out our "Video Playing" page. If you have only sound or only video, you'll have to download the proper codec to view the movies.

WHEN I LEFT CLICK TO PLAY A WMV SCENE, IT DOESN'T OPEN WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER?

The .WMV format is best seen with Windows Media Player but some other applications can play this format. However, some applications also take over this format and can't play it (like Winamp / real player or so). To fix this problem, we then have to setup the .wmv format to be viewed through Windows Media Player. To do this with Windows XP, just right click onto a wmv file and then select "opens with" and then, "choose the program". Finally, select Windows Media Player and check the box "always open with that program". If this doesn't work, you can also update your Windows Media Player, update your Windows Media Player HERE.

WHEN THE WMV ATTEMPTS TO GENERATE A LICENSE IT GETS STUCK?

We have a checklist of options that could affect the license generator:

1) Make sure you have all of the latest critical and optional windows updates, including windows XP service pack 2. Being completely up-to-date is required to make sure that the microsoft licensing technologies work. You should perform windows update until there are no more "High Priority" and "Software, Optional" updates available.
2) Delete your cookies in internet explorer.
3) Make sure your privacy settings in internet explorer are set to no higher than "medium-high"
4) Try forcing an update of your windows media security components: http://drmlicense.one.microsoft.com/indivsite/en/indivit.asp?force=1
5) If you are still having trouble obtaining licenses when you play files, try the following:
Reset Windows Media DRM by deleting all the files in the Windows Media DRM folder. Note that the Windows Media DRM folder is a hidden system folder. To view hidden files and folders, follow these steps:
a. Click Start, and then click My Computer.
b. On the Tools menu, click Folder Options, and then click the View tab.
c. Click Show hidden files and folders, and then click to clear the Hide protected operating system files check box.
Delete all of the files in this directory:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\DRM
6) Some software firewalls have been known to block either the updating of windows security components or the acquisition of licenses. If you have a software firewall (other than the one built into windows XP service pack 2), try disabling it and see if that works.
7) If you still have trouble, you may have spyware or a virus. For spyware we recommend trying the Microsoft anti-spyware tool, available from their website. For anti-virus, if you don't already have one, you can run a free scan at housecall.trendmicro.com.
